Electrical safety test site
One of the requirements for an electric equipment manufacturer to be able to issue a certificate of conformity for its product in compliance with the Government’s decree No. 17/2003 Coll. is the testing of electric safety that must prove that the product has been manufactured to harmonized standards. The essential requirement relevant to electric equipment is that it remains safe under standard operating conditions or when it is out of order.

NBC defence test site
The NBC defence test site performs resistance testing of paints, paint systems and other structural materials to chemical warfare agents according to STANAG 4360.

Infrared systems laboratory
To be able to measure basic parameters of infrared systems the laboratory is equipped with the CI SYSTEMS METS-S-10 modular measuring system with a valid authorization, comprising a mirror collimator, IR radiation source – black body, control unit and a motor-powered turning carousel including the tests.

Optics laboratory for observation and sighting systems
In order to measure basic parameters of optic reconnaissance and observation systems, TV cameras and noctovision devices the laboratory is equipped with an optic test bench, 0.5´ accuracy goniometer, auxiliary binoculars, dioptrimeters, wide-angle optic collimator, light box including required line tests, low-level light source, digital illumination meter, TV display with a digital oscilloscope.

Materials test site
The Materials test site of the VTÚO Brno testing centre is the 48th registered member of the Czech Testing Laboratories Association and has been accredited by the Czech Accreditation Institute as a testing laboratory No. 1449.
