EMC testing
The EMC test site was founded in 1993, thus, it is a testing laboratory operating for the longest time on the CZ territory having available the high-tech equipment and experienced employees. Within the CZ, this testing laboratory is a leading working place fully comparable with the highly developed foreign laboratories. It provides both accredited and non-accredited testing in the EMC area (interference - EMI and susceptibility - EMS).
The EMC test site comprises the following test laboratories:
- Electromagnetic Interference laboratory (EMI)
- Electromagnetic Susceptibility Laboratory (EMS)
- Technical Tests Laboratory
The tests for the private sector are made according to the harmonised Czech and European EMC standards, for the military sector according to the valid Czech military standards (ČOS), NATO standards (AECTP, STANAG) and according to the MIL-STD. Tests for private sector are an important base for the “EC Declaration of Conformity” issuing for the marking of the product by CE mark.
The EMS test site possesses mobile testing equipment allowing to perform some tests at the manufacturer’s facility or at the installation site (e.g. in case of large products or technological units).

Electrical safety testing
Based upon the relevant authorizations the Electrical safety and electrical appliances test site carries out the following activities:
- type, piece and acceptance tests of electrical power units,
- testing of electrical power units for military applications
- functional and acceptance tests performed at the installation site
- home appliances type tests
- computer and information technology and power sources type tests
- measuring, controlling and laboratory equipment type tests
- audio, video and similar electronic devices type tests
- switchgear type tests
- uninterruptible power sources (UPS) type tests
- semi-conductor converters type tests
- IP code testing
- type, manufacturing and piece tests of the plugs and sockets for household application
- power transformers & power sources electrical safety tests
- tests of electronic equipment used in power installations
- fire hazard tests (hot wire, flame, ball tests)
- tests of lamps and light sources
- inspections of electrical power elements of portable and mobile equipment
- in case of compliant test results we shall draw up a draft of EC certificate of conformity
- lectures on technical seminars and trainings

Electrical safety testing laboratory is a part of:
The Certification Body for the product certification certificates the personal protective equipment against the fall from height and for the divers in line with the 89/689/EEC European Directive (decision on authorisation No. 17/2006);

The notified body mainly
- issues the statement concerning the fulfilling of the EMC Directive basic requirements (No. 2004/108/EC) and
- in case of EU Commission or national body for market surveillance request issues the statement concerning the fulfilling of the LVD.
